Limited Non-Stop Service to Wine Country

Beginning September 20, Aero is planning on launching a new route from their base at L.A. Van Nuys Airport (VNY) to Napa County Airport (APC). With the launch of this route, Aero is hinging on a new partnership (or "Exclusive Travel Package" as referred to by the airline) with Auberge Resorts Collection, which has properties in the famous Napa Valley area. This partnership will hopefully keep Aero's new flights full.

Angelelons can get away on Aero to the Napa Valley up until November, when the limited jet service is set to end. Aero flights to Napa Valley will operate only one way in each direction on certain days. Flights going out of Los Angeles (VNY) to Napa (APC) will operate on Fridays, while return flights will operate on Sundays out of Napa (APC) headed back to Los Angeles (VNY)

The full flight schedule is as follows:

Los Angeles/Van Nuys (VNY) to Napa (APC)

Depart: Fridays at 3:30 PM PST

Arrive: Fridays at 5:40 PM PST

Napa (APC) to Los Angeles/Van Nuys (VNY)

Depart: Sundays at 9:30 AM PST

Arrive: Sundays at 12:00 PM PST

One-way tickets on this route will start at $725 one way.

Here's what Aero CEO Ben Klein had to say about the new route:

"Our community [customer base] has expressed interest in visiting Napa, and we've worked hard to make their dream a reality, just in time for the harvest season. Landing next to downtown Napa just over an hour after departing Los Angeles on a scheduled flight is extremely rare. Typically, this is only possible by flying private. Aero's new service to wine country is just one example of our strategic approach to growth in 2024: we're listening to feedback from the market and responding with innovative solutions. Guests can now fly to difficult-to-reach premier leisure destinations during peak seasonal time frames..."

Convenience and Partnerships

Aero’s L.A. to Napa Valley flights will clock in at just above an hour in flight time. When combined with the close proximity of Napa County Airport to the city’s downtown, these flights are already appealing to themselves. A traveler can have breakfast in downtown L.A. and be in Napa Valley for a wine tasting by lunchtime.

With this new route comes a travel package that passengers flying Aero can take advantage of. The “Aero x Auberge Resorts Collection Travel Package” includes a 10% discount on Aero flights, daily breakfast in Napa at one of Auberge’s Resorts, a $200 spa credit, “Wine-country welcome amenity” at check-in, and a complimentary chauffeur Friday through Sunday in Los Angeles.

The two Auberge resorts that travelers can book to take advantage of the Aero’s travel package are Solage and Stanley Ranch. These two resorts are well-known for their beautiful locations, luxurious lodging, spas, and “culinary experiences”

According to Aero, this travel package is “subject to availability” and can’t be combined with any other previously booked flights or promotions. A hotel stay has to be booked along with an Aero Napa Valley flight for travelers to fully take advantage of the package.

Luxury Experiences from Takeoff to Landing on Aero

On Aero flights to and from Napa Valley, the semi-private airline will be offering “...highly curated experiences…including hosted wine tastings with sommeliers, meet-and-greets with winemakers, and seasonal menus from renowned Napa restaurants…”

About Aero

Aero is a “...premier book-by-the-seat jet service…” that is currently based out of Van Nuys Airport (VNY) - just 20 miles from downtown L.A. The airline presently serves Aspen, Colorado (ASE), and Los Cabos (SJD) with scheduled luxury jet flights and a fleet of Embraer E135 aircraft.
